The Ocean at the End of the Lane: A Novel - Neil Gaiman Wow! Can Gaiman write! The only reason it loses a star for me is that I'm a bit tired of the little kid misunderstood by adults that can see things they can't trope. I know this is unfair, a little like complaining that there are dwarves in the hobbit, but my reviews are always deeply subjective and depending on when and where I read the book. I listened to the audiobook, and Gaiman's narration is a joy.
